ART123 Gallery

ART123 Gallery is located at 123 West Coal Avenue in downtown Gallup. ART123 opens a new show every month, featuring different local artists with each one. ART123 is a hub of creativity, showcasing everything from abstract painting to watercolor landscapes to photography to contemporary jewelry to sculpture. It is open from Tuesday through Friday from 1pm tp 5pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm. ART123 also offers artist demos, and artist-led workshops and classes throughout the year.

January – 3rd Annual Member Artist Group Show 

Featuring Arnulfo Peña, Dana Aldis, Nalmerthan Pablo, Official Billie, Shannon Gurley O’Donnell, Tera Selleck & Tieley Tsosie. 

February – 15 in 30 Challenge

28 local artists have accepted the challenge to paint 15 5″ x 7″ canvases in just 30 days. In February, see the results–420 individual artworks!

March – 5th Annual Youth Art Show

April – The April Show

A group show of local artists featuring work that is transformational and inspirational.

May – Nalmerthan Pablo 

Nalmerthan Pablo’s unique painting style blends realism and fantasy.

June –  Shannon Gurley O’Donnell

Shannon Gurley O’Donnell’s masterful watercolors capture everything from singular details to sweeping landscapes. 

July – Square Off! 

The community is invited to help re-create four different works by Native artists on a larger-than-life-sized scale piece by piece–one square at a time!

August – The August Show

In conjunction with Gallup’s annual Inter-Tribal Ceremonial, ART123 puts on a massive group show of local artists. 

September – Transformation: New Work by Jerry Brown and MB

Two generations of artists explore a transformational time in their lives. 

October – B. Emerson Kitsman

Legendary plein air landscape painter B. Emerson Kitsman will share new work.

November – Arnulfo Peña

Native artist Arnulfo Peña explores themes of Native American identity, veterans issues and nature in his paintings.
