What? 2nd Look on 2nd Street is a free public program highlighting downtown Gallup’s “Gallery Row”.

When? Monthly on 4th Tuesdays* from 6 – 8pm

*Except for February, November and December, in which the event will be on the 3rd Tuesday.

Where? Along Second Street from Hill Avenue to Coal Avenue.

Schedule of Events: Each 2nd Look on 2nd Street follows the same basic schedule, featuring different artists every month:

6 – 8pm: Artist Demonstration at Camille’s Sidewalk Café

6:30pm: 15-minute Guided Slow Looking Session @ Free Spirit Gallery

7:00pm: 15-minute Artist Talk @ opo Gallery

7:30pm: 15-minute Artist Talk @ ART123 Gallery

Bonus: Gallery visitors receive a free regular-sized coffee, tea or soft drink from Camille’s Sidewalk Café! Event attendees can pick up a drink coupon at any of the participating galleries.

Call to Artists!

Apply to present a 2-hour artist demonstration (6 – 8pm) at Camille’s Sidewalk Café during a 2019 2nd Look on 2nd Street event (a different artist will be featured each month)!

To apply: E-mail assistant@galluparts.org with the following information.

– Name

– Contact information (phone number, e-mail address)

– Top three choices for 2nd Look on 2nd Street event date (in order of preference)

– Artist statement/bio

– 3 – 5 work samples

– Description of demonstration

– Please certify that you will be able to provide your own materials, set-up (only a table and chairs will be provided by the venue) and clean-up
