• Who we are

  • gallupARTS is a 501(c)3 arts nonprofit serving Gallup and McKinley County in New Mexico. Our mission is to “foster creativity, culture, commerce and quality of life in Gallup and McKinley County through the arts.” We are the primary arts presenter for Gallup and the surrounding area, and we take a two-pronged approach to promoting the arts here. We support local artists by creating opportunities for them to display and sell their work while also engaging the broader community in creativity. Put another way, we work to grow and develop Gallup’s creative economy at the same time providing people opportunities to see, make, and enjoy art. Our robust suite of programs includes two art galleries, downtown ArtsCrawl events, art festivals, rotating student art displays, art classes, and public art projects.
